Capital Investments
Capital investment is the planning, development, acquisition of a capital asset and the management and operation of that asset through its usable life after the initial acquisition. IT Capital investments may consist of one or more assets, the planning, development and acquisition of which are managed through projects, and which then provide useful components in an operational (production) environment.
