City of Sioux Falls Sidewalk Network Inventory and Assessment
Application providing information on sidewalks in the City of Sioux Falls.Our sidewalks are a key part of the city’s infrastructure and are crucial for a safe and accessible community. The Sidewalk Network Inventory and Assessment was an initiative to create a comprehensive database of the sidewalk network features within the city of Sioux Falls, SD. The database and inventory were designed to serve as the City’s Self-Evaluation as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA.) The assessment evaluated both condition and compliance of the sidewalk network, with the intent of providing information to better inform programs and projects related to sidewalk accessibility and outline improvements for the City’s ADA Transition Plan.The inventory displayed in this interactive map was collected during the summer of 2017 and updated annually until 2022. Please browse the webmap to view and analyze the results and conclusions of the project at a neighborhood level.
