HAVO CCC Construction 1934-1942
During the Great Depression, local men from Hawaiʻi were recruited to work on projects to conserve natural resources and build public infrastructure as a part of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Many of the projects they worked on have a lasting impact to this day. The resources for this StoryMap allow the public to learn more about their experiences in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park.
