Methane Seeps in the Northern US Atlantic Margin

These locations of methane seeps in the northern US Atlantic margin were derived from analysis of multibeam and water column data collected during several expeditions of the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer. The results of the analysis were published in a paper titled "Widespread methane leakage from the sea floor on the northern US Atlantic margin" by A. Skarke, C. Ruppel, M. Kodis, D. Brothers, and E. Lobecker.
