Project Red: Well 34A-22 Casing Integrity, Trajectory, Cement Bond, and Mudlog Data - 2022
This dataset contains borehole logging data acquired in March-July 2022 from Fervo Energy geothermal wells in the Blue Mountain Geothermal Field, Humboldt County, Nevada. The submission includes casing inspection and cement evaluation logs, directional and trajectory measurements, and a mudlog derived from drill cuttings and surface monitoring. Data are provided in LAS format with depth-referenced measurements and associated metadata.
The casing-related logs include acoustic cement bond and casing inspection measurements that record internal casing geometry, cement bond amplitude, sector-based acoustic responses, temperature, and tool orientation parameters. Trajectory data capture borehole deviation, inclination, azimuth, and related accelerometer and magnetometer measurements recorded during drilling, with depth-referenced directional information. The mudlog includes lithologic descriptions derived from drill cuttings, gas measurements, fracture indicators, and mineralogical and lithologic proportions. Units, depth references, and null values are defined in the LAS headers. Users should note that some measurements are subjective or tool-derived, as indicated in the curve descriptions and parameter sections.
