DRC DOT is a FEMA-internal facing application that is used to populate the data available in externally available application DRC Locator. DOT allows a FEMA user to open and close DRCs, enter information about a DRC such as the location, address, phone number, hours of operation, and services available.   When the information is saved, DOT accesses a geolocation service to obtain latitude and longitude information, so that a map can be viewed in DRC Locator. The FEMA user is also able to record visitor information and generate canned reports with detailed DRC information. This system is also tightly integrated with the FEMA mobile app and the FEMA Geo Portal through near real-time data exchanges.
