Published by Office of the Chief Technology Officer | District of Columbia | Metadata Last Checked: January 27, 2026 | Last Modified: 2025-03-19T16:18:27.000Z
The District has collected Orthophotography dating back to 1999 and now LiDAR. These aerial images have a variety of uses including web based visualizations and to create derivative data such as buildings, roads and elevation models. They are viewed in many District web applications and made available as downloadable files. They can also be accessed as web services to integrate into your web apps. Use this viewer to compare a handful of imagery from past years. The District of Columbia typically captures aerial imagery every other year.
