The Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department (TFMR) is an “all-hazards” department that responds to all types of calls for service. Transfer times for stroke patients directly impact patient outcomes (chance of full recovery).Data originates from stroke alerts issued by Tempe Fire Medical Rescue, where patients exhibiting symptoms of a stroke on the scene and a stroke alert was activated, with the receiving hospital notified.
