 Public transportation services provide residents and visitors with safe and dependable ways to move throughout Tempe to access jobs, medical care, community resources, and recreational opportunities. Every two years, the city of Tempe completes a survey of Tempe residents to gain insights into perceptions about public transit among both riders and non-riders along with bicycle usage, awareness of Tempe in Motion program and the Tempe Youth Free Transit Pass program.Data compares Tempe"s transit satisfaction among transit users and in some cases non users with the city of Phoenix and Valley Metro.
