AIR TEMPERATURE, RELATIVE HUMIDITY, and others collected from Automatic Weather Station installed on rock outcrop in Helheim Glacier Ice Front from 2009-08-11 to 2016-02-20 (NCEI Accession 0148759)
The Helheim Glacier was observed to retreat and speed up during the mid 2000s. One possible cause of the change in glacier behavior could be due to changes in atmosphere properties, temperature, humidity, and wind. A research program was established to monitor the atmosphere conditions near the glacier during 2009-2013.
