Airborne magnetic flight line data, central Arkansas - southern Missouri, 2023

Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Metadata Last Checked: January 27, 2026 | Last Modified: 2025-01-29T00:00:00Z
Airborne magnetic data are provided here as part of the data release "Airborne magnetic and radiometric survey, central Arkansas and southern Missouri, 2023." This website includes the processed aeromagnetic data provided in an ASCII (.csv) file and GeoTIFF images showing the total magnetic intensity and derivative products, including the first and second vertical derivatives, residual magnetics, and reduced-to-pole magnetics. Note that the standard magnetic pole-reduction filter used to create the reduced-to-pole magnetic GeoTIFF may not properly account for remanant magnetization of strongly magnetized rocks associated with intrusive complexes such as those near Magnet Cove, Little Rock, and Rison, AR.
