ANALYSES - ANNUAL SUMMARIES and Other Data from SATELLITE From World-Wide Distribution from 1990-07-01 to 1990-12-31 (NCEI Accession 9100024)
Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) blended Sea Surface Temperatures (SST) data for July-December 1990 was provided by Mr. William D. Newell, from the Ocean Products Center. SST were collected from multiple ships and buoys (in situ) and from satellites (POLAR AVHRR). Blended SST's eliminate biases or large scale trends in the satellite data by using in situ data as anchor points. Some of the data are ASCII, others in EBC DIC mode. Data can be found on tape A01356 W14226.
