MrSid compression 20:1 of Landsat Thematic Mapper MRLC multispectral satellite image for Aniakchak National Monument and Preserve. This Aniakchak National Monument and Preserve enhanced satellite image mosaic was created by the National Park Service Alaska Landcover Mapping Program. An MRLC image from the USGS EROS Field Office for May 11, 2001 path/row 72/20 was used to create this product. Coverage is complete for the entire Monument and Preserve. The mosaic was created using bands 4-red,and 3-green 2-blue. The TM7 image data was sampled for a 30m pixel. The original image was generated in WGS84 and was reprojected by the National Park Service to NAD27 and then NAD83. The final mosaic has been produced with a 30m pixel. The mosaic is useful down to approximately 1:60,000. The expected geometric accuracy of the product is ± 60m.
