This layer denotes the presence of archaeology sites utilizing a grid based on the U.S. National Grid (10,000 m) divided into nine sections per 10,000 m grid. The red symbology represents the presence of archaeological sites in that sub grid and the blue represent the absence of presence of archaeological sites in that sub grid. Each sub grid is labeled with its placement in the 10,000 m grid, as seen below: NW (Northwest)NC (North Central)NE (Northeast)W (West)C (Central)E (East)SW (Southwest)SC (South Central)SE (Southeast) Each sub grid is also given a unique name with a naming convention based on the US National Grid and the Placement Label, as seen below:(US National Grid)-(Placement Label)18T XM 25-NW
