Associations among NMR-measured inflammatory and metabolic biomarkers and accelerated aging in cardiac catheterization patients
This dataset was utilized to evaluate associations between accelerated epigenetic and transcriptomic age and NMR-measured metabolic and inflammatory biomarkers. It contains information on biological and chronological age, confounders, and NMR-measured 'omic profiles. This dataset is not publicly accessible because: The data is derived from medical records which cannot be disclosed per federal law (HIPPA) and existing data use agreements. It can be accessed through the following means: The data can be accessed via sending a request to the CATHGEN Executive Committee (https://dmpi.duke.edu/studies/cathgen). An approved IRB application may be required by the committee. Format: The data is tabular data containing columns specifying the epigenetic and transcriptomic age of the individuals along with NMR-measured metabolic biomarkers. Social and demographic confounders are are included within the dataset.
This dataset is associated with the following publication:
Raab, H., E. Hauser, L. Kwee, S. Shah, W. Kraus, and C. Ward-Caviness. Associations among NMR-measured inflammatory and metabolic biomarkers and accelerated aging in cardiac catheterization patients. Aging. Impact Journals, LLC, Orchard Park, NY, USA, 16(8): 6652-6672, (2024).
