This annual Tree Report summarizes revenue and expenses for the Urban Forest Replenishment fund and other urban forest funding at the City of Austin. The report includes financial data on Urban Forest Grant distribution, and program expenditures for the 2025 fiscal year which ran from October 2024 through September 2025. Revenue, expense, and balance financial data reflected in the report are from 2021-2025. The Urban Forest Replenishment Fund supports community forestry in Austin by funding programs like Urban Forest Grants and NeighborWoods free tree program. Managed by the City of Austin’s Climate Action & Resilience team, the fund helps advance the City’s goal of reaching 50% tree canopy cover by 2050.
