Automated Eligibility Verification System (AEVS): Carrier Codes for Other Health Coverage
This dataset provides basic information about third parties who may be liable for medical expenses that would otherwise be paid by Medi-Cal. This information is based on a point in time and is expected to be updated monthly. The data is retrieved from the Carrier Code Master File (CCMF), which is used to bill liable third parties to ensure Medi-Cal remains the payer of last resort.
