This dataset contains Sanger ITS sequences from biocrust lichen taxa collected at Horse Heaven Hills in Washington, USA. It also includes metagenomic biocrust lichen data from 20 plots at Horse Heaven Hills in Washington, USA. These data were collected by Bruce McCune and Heather Root in 2019-2020 and sequenced for ITS using bulk sequencing in the PacBio system at Brigham Young University by Steve Leavitt.
