CARICOOS real-time buoy observations near Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands at PR1 - CarICOOS Data Buoy A, located at 17d 52.200m N, 66d 32.220m W, South of Caja de Muertos Island. Buoy PR116 was deployed from 2024-07-31 11:31:00 through 0000-00-00 00:00:00 UTC. Ocean current speed and direction measurements were made hourly throughout the water column from near-surface to near the ocean floor using a Nortek Aquadopp acoustic doppler current profiler onboard the buoy.
