Bathythermograph (XBT), ocean station data from XIANG YANG HONG 14 in the Coral Sea, North Pacific Ocean, and others from 1989-10-16 to 1990-07-14 (NCEI Accession 9000249)
The water depth and temperature data along with Ocean Station data was collected from ship Xiang Yang Hong 14 in cruises 7 and 8. The data was collected from TOGA (Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere) Area in the Pacific (30 N to 30 S) from October 1989 to July 1990. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was submitted by First Institute of Oceanography, Shandong Province, China. The data has been converted and is now available on line in C116-Bathythermograph-XBT and C100 Ocean-Station-Data file formats of NODC.
