Multi-sensor core logger data and laboratory consolidation and grain size tests performed on jumbo piston core samples.
This dataset contains Geotek multi-sensor core logger (MSCL) data from cores collected on the R/V Marcus G. Langseth in June 2023 and processed geotechnical data for the collected samples. All laboratory tests were performed at The University of Texas at Austin. The data include results of constant rate-of-strain consolidation tests (compression index, swelling index, permeability, porosity) and grain size measurements (% sand, % silt, % clay, and grain size distribution quartiles).
