CURRENT - DIRECTION and Other Data from UNKNOWN From World-Wide Distribution from 1935-01-01 to 1978-12-31 (NCEI Accession 8800247)
This data set contains NODC station data spanning from January 1935 to December 1978. The data set contains quality controlled station data profiles for standard levels, in non-NODC format, reporting temperature, salinity, and oxygen. The first file contains computer program documentation for reading the other nine data files. This data set was compiled by Sid Levitus at the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory ERL/NOAA.
