This dataset includes current data collected by drifters deployed from 2003-04-14 to 2003-04-16 in the Middle Atlantic Bight continental shelf / offshore Delaware Bay. Instruments used include 3 Horizon Drifters using ARGOS system for location, 1 Brightwater Drifter using ARGOS system for location, and 1 Brightwater Drifter using GPS-ARGOS system for location. These data were collected to support investigations of across-margin transport of biologically, geological, and chemically important materials as part of the DECADE project. Data collectors: Dr. Richard Garvine, University of Delaware, College of Marine Studies and Dr. Charles Tilburg, University of Georgia.
