The data for this project can be broken down into three sub-groups: TFM Pellet data, Temp data, and Water Quality data. Each subgroup and associated csv files are explained below: TFM Pellet data: The TFM Pellet dataset consists of 36 individual csv files with each file having a unique name making it representative of 1 trial of the study. For example “0.08 mps at 12C Trials rep 1.csv” would be the first replicate with a flow of 0.08 meters per second and a water temperature of 12°C. Each of the csv files has 16 columns of data. Target Temp: The target temperature of the trial Target Velocity: The target velocity (m/sec) of the trial Replicate #: The rep of the trial Actual Temp: The actual measured temp at the beginning of the trial Average Actual Velocity: The measured velocity in m/sec Average flow: The measured flow in Liters/min Average Height: The measured height of the water column (mm) Mass of TFM in Pellets: The mass of TFM (grams) in the pellets used Time Between Samples: the time in minutes between each sample Sample Name: a unique name given to each sample based on the time Time: numeric description of how many hours into the trial it has been River Conc.: TFM concentration (mg/L)provided by HPLC data TFM Released: The amount of TFM in mg released from the pellets during the previous sample time based on the River Conc. at this sample time: Total TFM Released: a cumulative amount of TFM released % TFM Used: Percent TFM that is gone from the pellets, essentially a percent recovery % recov correction: corrects for the amount of TFM used in order to have a total recovery of 100% Temp Data: This dataset consists of 3 csv files, one for each of the three temperatures in our trials. Temp 12.csv, Temp 16.csv, Temp 20.csv. Each file has a summary of recorded temps in Celcius for the 12 trials that were run at the temperature associated with the file name. There are only two columns in each file: Date_Time, and Temp. The “Date_Time” column shows the date and time the temperature was recorded. The “Temp” column shows the temperature that was recorded in degress celcius. Water Quality data: This data consists of a single csv file summary of the water quality collected during each trial. There are 11 columns in the file: Velocity: Target velocity of the trial Temperature: Target temp of the trial Replicate: rep (1-4) of each trial pre post: whether or not the data was collected at the beginning (pre) or end (post) of each trial pH: the measured pH Alk: the measured alkalinity (mg/L CaCO3) Hardness: the measured hardness (mg/L CaCO3) Flow 1: There were two flow measurements taken before each trial and two flows taken at the end of each trial. This represents the first one taken and is in L/min. Flow 2: This represents the second flow reading taken in L/min. Depth: the depth of the water column in mm Velocity: the calculated velocity of the stream in meters per second
