Disability Analysis File (DAF) - Demographic Public Use File (PUF)
The Disability Analysis File (DAF) - Demographic Public Use File (PUF), which contains a random 10 percent sample of beneficiaries included in the full DAF, contains demographic and other one-time information, such as date of birth, date of death, and information collected at the time of disability application. The Demographic file contains one record for each beneficiary who has ever met the DAF selection criteria since 1996 and is not limited to those still receiving benefits. This file contains a snapshot of what each beneficiary's administrative record looks like as of December 2016.
Please Note: the CSV files will not open completely in Excel due to Excel’s row limit.
