This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC11, CFC12) and other hydrographic and chemical measurements obtained during R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruise GO-SHIP_I06S (EXPOCODE 325020190403) in the Southern and Indian Oceans from 2019-04-03 to 2019-05-14. The U.S. GO-SHIP I6S 2019 hydrographic section revisited this intercontinental line after its first occupation in 2008, itself a repeat of the original 1996 WOCE transect by France.
