This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIS), total alkalinity, CTD temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and nutrients, obtained during the R/V Aurora Australis cruise CLIVAR_S04I_2006 (EXPOCODE 09AR20060102) in the Indian and Southern Oceans from 2006-01-02 to 2006-03-12. These data were collected by Bronte Tilbrook of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) and Mark Rosenberg of University of Tasmania (UTAS) as part of the CLIVAR_S04I_2006 dataset. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
