DS926 Digital surfaces and thicknesses of selected hydrogeologic units of the Floridan aquifer system in Florida and parts of Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina -- Polygon region of the surficial thickness greater than 10 feet

Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Metadata Last Checked: February 10, 2026 | Last Modified: 2020-11-17T00:00:00Z
Digital surfaces and thicknesses of selected hydrogeologic units of the Floridan aquifer system were developed to define an updated hydrogeologic framework as part of the U.S. Geological Survey Groundwater Resources Program. This feature class contains the smoothed polygon feature of the surfical thickness raster where the thickness is greater than 10 feet. The raster was reclassed into a single polygon. Small isolated areas were removed to produce a generalized extent of surficial materials overlying the Floridan aquifer system.
