Duke Forest Ammonia Flux Dataset_Forest_Grass_2017

Published by U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD) | U.S. Environmental Protection Agency | Metadata Last Checked: August 02, 2025 | Last Modified: 2022-03-08
This dataset includes measurements of ammonia air surface exchange in two adjacent ecosystems measured by open-path quantum cascade laser using the eddy covariance technique. Analysis includes assessment of the physical and biogeochemical drivers that lead to differences in atmosphere-biosphere exchange of ammonia between these two natural ecosystems. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Guo, X., D. Pan, R. Daly, X. Chen, J. Walker, L. Tao, J. McSpiritt, and M. Zondlo. Spatial heterogeneity of ammonia fluxes in a deciduous forest and adjacent grassland. AGRICULTURAL AND FOREST METEOROLOGY. Elsevier Science Ltd, New York, NY, USA, 326: 109128, (2022).
