Published by NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information | National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Department of Commerce | Metadata Last Checked: January 29, 2026 | Last Modified: 2021-04-12T00:00:00.000+00:00
The dataset provides the eddy-induced heat flux and flux related variables in the South China Sea from 2000-2015. It is available daily on 0.25° spatial resolution. The variables include latent heat (lh) and sensible heat (sh) flux, air temperature (ta), sea surface temperature (sst) and specific humidity (qa) at the reference height of 2m above the sea surface. The data also include wind speed (ws) at the reference height of 10m and saturation humidity (qs).
