Leg 2 May 28- June 6, 2019 (10 DAS) Work during this leg will document the distribution, condition, and ecology of pelagic juvenile fishes and plankton on the continental shelf of Washington and Oregon. We will tow a midwater trawl for 9 evenings (28 May- 5 June) and, during daylight, we will sample plankton at the surface and at depth with a manta and a bongo net, respectively. Weather permitting, daytime advanced technologies will also be deployed (ARIS and PlanktonScope are described in instructions). Unloading of all gear will occur June 6.
