For details about the Elk Management Program see: https://wildlife.ca.gov/Conservation/Mammals/Elk.The features in this dataset represent general location boundaries of Elk Hunt Zones as described in Title 14 California Code of Regulations (CCR), Section 364. The boundaries are approximate and are intended for reference only. It is the user’s responsibility to refer to Title 14 CCR Section 364 to obtain exact location descriptions for Elk Hunt Zone boundaries, to ensure lawful hunting activity. This dataset was last updated April 2023.
