Field Methods: Immature (larval) collection techniques will be limited to aquatic sampling with a standard dipper in vernal pools or a large pipette (turkey baster) in tree holes or rock pools. Adult mosquitoes will be taken by aspiration or CO2-baited CDC light traps. A standard mouth aspirator or handheld battery powered aspirator will be used to collect resting or host-seeking adult mosquitoes.
