EnviroAtlas - 2020 Dasymetric Population for the Conterminous United States v1.1
This EnviroAtlas dataset intelligently reallocates 2020 population from census blocks to 30 meter pixels based on land cover and land use for the conterminous United States. Datasets for other geographies were produced separately; metadata for these related datasets may be found here: Alaska https://enviroatlas.epa.gov/enviroatlas/MetadataFGDC/Dasymetric_Population_AK_2020_V1.xml, Hawaii https://enviroatlas.epa.gov/enviroatlas/MetadataFGDC/Dasymetric_Population_HI_2020_V1.xml, Puerto Rico https://enviroatlas.epa.gov/enviroatlas/MetadataFGDC/Dasymetric_Population_PR_2020_V1.xml, U.S. Virgin Islands https://enviroatlas.epa.gov/enviroatlas/MetadataFGDC/Dasymetric_Population_VI_2020_V1.xml. This dataset was produced by the US EPA to support research and online mapping activities related to EnviroAtlas. EnviroAtlas (https://www.epa.gov/enviroatlas) allows the user to interact with a web-based, easy-to-use, mapping application to view and analyze multiple ecosystem services for the United States. The dataset is available as downloadable data (https://www.epa.gov/enviroatlas/forms/enviroatlas-data-download) or as an EnviroAtlas map service.
