Extraction Lookup Table - Supplemental Materials to Modelling Effects of Flow Withdrawal Scenarios on Riverine and Riparian Features of the Yampa River in Dinosaur National Monument

Published by National Park Service | Department of the Interior | Metadata Last Checked: January 25, 2026 | Last Modified: 2024-01-01T00:00:00Z
The Extraction Lookup Tables in this supplemental file reflect the results of the analyses of historical and alternative hydrographs, reflecting potential water extractions, described in the accompanying report. These tables are intended to be used by the National Park Service to evaluate how water development proposals will adversely affect NPS resources. Any amount of water will have some impact on the natural resource of the Yampa River. The purpose of these tables is to enable the NPS to identify ways to minimize the impact to the extent possible. Tables are for Assessment #1 (full 99-year historical hydrologic record) and Assessment #2 (most recent 20 years of the hydrologic record) and present the optimized alternative extraction scenarios (based on the prescribed Flow Extraction Parameters) that minimize the impact to the resource (i.e., the sum of the resource metrics) for a volume of water extracted.
