Nomad Ecology conducted post-fire vegetation and covered species monitoring in 2020 and 2021 following the 2019 Malech Fire, which burned 210 acres within Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve. Monitoring included aerial image capture via drone flights, post-fire monitoring for serpentine bunchgrass grassland, monitoring of six covered species, and post-fire invasive plant mapping. Richard Harris (from Richard R. Harris Consulting) prepared the Wildfire Management Plan dated June 2021. Nomad Ecology prepared the Post-Fire Vegetation and Covered Species Monitoring of the 2019 Malech Fire Within Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve dated February 2022. This data and metadata were submitted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Staff though the Data Management Plan (DMP) framework with the id: DMP000441.
