Fish tagged and released and Fish sampling collected from FV Gutsy Lady4 in Jarvis Island EEZ from 2015-09-21 to 2015-09-23 (NCEI Accession 0233205)
During a tuna tagging research experiment implemented to provide data that are used for WCPO tuna stock assessment, the tagging platform FV Gutsy Lady4 spent 2 days within the Jarvis waters. Tuna tagging occurred on small tuna schools associated with drifting FADs. One skipjack tuna, 8 yellowfin and 3 bigeyes were tagged and released. At the same time biological samples were taken from one bigeye tuna, one dolphin fish and 3 wahoo. This data set is US State Dept MSR RATS U2015-018.
