FY2020 Proposed Mayoral Budget Submission
The FY2020 Proposed Budget Dashboard (Mayoral Submission) was developed by the Budget Office and is an interactive data visualization tool, built in Tableau, that allows users to view the Mayor’s proposed FY2020 budget released on March 20, 2019. Users are able to select agency clusters or individual agencies to review high-level data. Visit the DC Council Office of the Budget Director website for further documentation.The Office of the Budget Director is responsible for advising Council members on matters related to the District’s budget, including review, markup, enactment, and oversight of the annual operating budget and capital improvement plan. The Office drafts fiscal impact statements for emergency legislation and amendments, analyzes the fiscal and economic impacts of legislation, performs policy analysis, and reviews reprogramming requests. The Office is also responsible for tracking legislation passed subject to appropriations. Budget staff serve as a resource for all Council committees and members.
