Gridded particle tracking model simulation outputs corresponding to aerial imagery flights lines of dye release experiment at Searcys Bend near Columbia, Missouri, May 5, 2021

Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Metadata Last Checked: January 27, 2026 | Last Modified: 2023-08-11T00:00:00Z
This dataset contains processed output data from particle simulations of the dye release at Searcys Bend in the form of rasters whose values represent the number of particles within a horizontal 4x4 meter sized grid and in the top 1 meter of the water column at specific modeled timesteps corresponding to the times that aerial images were collected. Additional gridded outputs are included corresponding to timesteps that best match the location of the leading edge of dye as seen in the 4th and 5th flight line.
