IBEX-Hi Histograms

Published by NASA Space Physics Data Facility (SPDF) Data Services | National Aeronautics and Space Administration | Metadata Last Checked: April 13, 2026 | Last Modified: 2026-04-06
Each record captures the number of arriving ENA's\nof a specific energy band, coincidence type, and spin phase. Data\nfor each full ~15s spacecraft spin are given at each of 60 spin\nphases in sequential records, with the J2000 right ascension and \ndeclination for look directions corresponding to each spin phase \nbeing given in the corresponding record. Also included in each\nrecord are a time tag (seconds since 00:00 UT of January 6, 1980), \nthe IBEX location, ENA energy band and coincidence type. Positive \nspecies identifications are not made, but most arriving ENA's are \nhydrogen atoms. Data files are given for each 8-day orbit and for \neach of the 6 IBEX-Hi energy bands. The data files are in \nASCII.
