This dataset provides details about how ERO is improving the agency's operational efficiency. ERO launced the ICE Portal, a public-facing website that centralizes communications between non-detained noncitizens and the federal government. This allows non-citizens to do certain tasks, such as scheduling appointments and updating their address. In addition, ERO is testing the ICE Check-In App in its Miami field office, which allows a limited number of low-risk noncitizens on the non-detained docket to conduct their mandatory check-ins with ERO officers remotely. This app uses multiple verication tools, such as facial verification and geolocation to verify users and allows ICE to optimize scarce resources versus in-person reporting processes. Additionally, ERO laucned the ERO eFile system across the country to allow legal representatives to more easily file their Form G-28 Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative. This system enables the agency to more efficiently report on representation rates and automates representative information. ERO has also began development on an online scheduling tool for legal visits at ICE detention facilities through ERO eFile, which will reduce administrative burdenof continuously vetting elgal representatives and scheduling legal visits
