For current data on respiratory illness visits and respiratory laboratory testing data please see Influenza, COVID-19, RSV, and Other Respiratory Virus Laboratory Surveillance and Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Outpatient Visits for Respiratory Illnesses. This dataset includes aggregated weekly metrics of the surveillance indicators that the Department of Public Health uses to monitor influenza activity in Chicago. These indicators include: - Influenza-associated ICU hospitalizations for Chicago residents, which is a reportable condition in Illinois (HOSP_ columns) - Influenza laboratory data provided by participating sentinel laboratories in Chicago (LAB_ columns) - Influenza-like illness data for outpatient clinic visits and emergency department visits.
