Inspections of Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Locations (No Longer Maintained)
This dataset is based on a legacy system that is no longer maintained by the NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY). It contains the following information about inspections of permitted, privately operated, municipal solid waste disposal locations: inspection ID number, inspection date, the number of violations, and number of warnings.
Some current information about Transfer Station Complaints can be found in the 311 Service Requests dataset (https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Social-Services/311-Service-Requests-from-2010-to-Present/erm2-nwe9) by filtering the "Complaint Type" field for "Transfer Station Complaint".
