Interim Disadvantaged Communities (DAC): 2020

This dataset identifies areas throughout the State that meet the interim criteria identified for a disadvantaged community as defined by New York State. It contains the 4,145 Census block groups that make up the current interim Disadvantaged Communities (DAC) approach. NYSERDA currently hosts a map on its website showing the interim DAC areas with an address look-up function that allows users to enter an address to determine if the address falls inside or outside an interim DAC: https://www.nyserda.ny.gov/ny/disadvantaged-communities The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) offers objective information and analysis, innovative programs, technical expertise, and support to help New Yorkers increase energy efficiency, save money, use renewable energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
