This dataset provides median earnings in past 12 months for the civilian employed population 16 years and over by industry for State of Iowa, individual Iowa counties, Iowa places and census tracts within Iowa. Data is from the American Community Survey, Five Year Estimates, Table B24031.
The following industries are included in the dataset: Agriculture forestry fishing and hunting, Mining quarrying and oil and gas extraction, Construction, Manufacturing, Wholesale trade, Retail trade, Transportation and warehousing, Utilities, Information, Finance and insurance, Real estate and rental and leasing, Professional scientific and technical services, Management of companies and enterprises, Administrative and support and waste management services, Educational services, Health care and social assistance, Arts entertainment and recreation, Accommodation and food services, Other services except public administration, and Public administration. A few roll up into industry groups.
