KSC ADVANCED GROUND BASED FIELD MILL V1
The Advanced Ground Based Field Mill (AGBFM) network consists of 34(31 operational) field mills located at Kennedy Space Center (KSC),Florida. The field mills measure the electrostatic vertical field.This system can measure electrostatic fields in the range of 4 V/mto 32 kV/m at 10 Hz resolution (digitized at 50 Hz). Individuallightning events can be detected within approximately 50 nauticalmiles of KSC proper.
