Measurements of quagga mussel veliger numbers from Lake Mead At Echo Bay/Virgin River. Veligers, the larval stage of dreissenid mussels, are collected with a plankton tow net and preserved with alcohol and buffer. Veligers are identified and counted under cross-polarized light microscopy.
