LANDFIRE 2016 Remap Aspect (ASP) Micronesia
Aspect was produced from the IA DEM using ESRI's Aspect tool. Method option in the tool was ‘PLANAR'. The aspect defines downslope direction. Non-defined aspect (slope is less than or =2) are assigned a value of -1. Aspect values range from 0.0 to 359.0 degrees Focal Statistics were used on the Percent Rise Slope using a 9x9 window and a median statistics value. the file was then used to rectify over the Aspect file (in house script was used).
