Leatherback sea turtle age and growth

This involves two studies. This first study involves analysis of skeletal growth marks in scleral ossicle bones of 33 leatherback sea turtles stranded dead along the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico US coasts (hatchling to adult) and 8 captive-reared juvenile leatherbacks and provides age estimates The second later study involves leatherback back-calculated age and growth in the northwest Atlantic Ocean and in the northern Pacific Ocean.
