Light transmission and other data from Cape Henlopen from North American Coastline. Transmissometer data was collected by Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory in the Baltimore Canyon from April 16, 1981 to March 12, 1982. These data are part of the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Baltimore Canyon Study. Bottom moorings were deployed from the R/V CAPE HENLOPEN to record time series percent transmission of light and beam attenuation at depth. A SeaTech transmissometer with a 25 cm path length was used to collect these data. Beam attenuation was calculated per meter. These data were submitted by W. Gardner. The format is similar to NODC'S F017 format.
